Stay safe from Carbon Monoxide. Don't just detect... PROtect!

Carbon monoxide (CO) is an invisible, odorless, and deadly gas.

Furnaces, water heaters, and their exhaust systems are primary sources of carbon monoxide (CO) that can fail at any time from:

  • Cracked heat exchanger
  • Spillage / backdrafting
  • Rollout
  • Animals/nests in exhaust pipes
  • Rusted or cracked exhaust pipes
  • Clogged filter ..and more

When these failures occur, carbon monoxide can be released into the home's air that's too low of a level to be detected by a traditional consumer CO detector.

Introducing the Award Winning CO/PRO

ACHR's 2023 Silver IAQ Winner

"This unit provides way more protection to homeowners and reduces liability for contractors", said Contractor Judge #1

"The multiple ways it monitors is different that standard CO monitors", said Contractor Judge #2

"I like that this is a low-level detector, as most on the market don't alarm to over 40 ppm, and this starts below 25 ppm", said Contractor Judge #3

When CO is detected, CO/PRO turns off fuel-burning devices to stop the production of CO at the source!

Key Features

  • Turns off fuel-burning sources when CO > 25 ppm
  • Connects to furnaces, water heaters, and more
  • Dual zone low-level CO monitor
  • Turns fuel-burning sources back on when CO < 20 ppm
  • Automatic daily self-test
  • Up to 7-year sensor life
  • Replaceable UL-rated sensor
  • Audible alarm and visual indicators
  • Direct 24 V AC/DC powered
  • Multi-patented operation

Overview Video - Discover the CO/PRO's Value

 CO/PRO Dual Zone Monitoring

Zone 1

AIR INSIDE DUCT

A faulty furnace can produce low to dangerous levels of CO that get distributed to everyone in the home through the ventilation system.

CO/PRO monitors the air in the ventilation and TURNS THE FURNACE OFF when increased levels of CO are detected in the vent air.

Zone 2

ESCAPED EXHAUST AIR

Exhaust systems can become clogged by animals and vent joints can crack, forcing low to dangerous levels of CO into the home's ambient air.

CO/PRO monitors the level of CO around the exhaust systems and can TURN THE CO SOURCES OFF when increased levels of CO are detected.

Single stage furnace shown.

Dual and variable stage furnaces require independent CO/PROs per zone.

CO Protection is Important!

>50%

...of the home (CO) detectors that were tested failed to function properly.

34%

...of all (CO) poisonings were caused by heating systems.

10 Million

...people in the U.S. are more sensitive to CO levels below what's supported by current CO detectors.

Exposure to low levels of carbon monoxide (CO) for long periods of time can cause symptoms that mimic many sicknesses and diseases.

Who's at High Risk for Low Level CO Poisoning?

Expecting Moms & Children

Chronic exposure to CO during pregnancy can cause permeant damage to fetal brain cells

Immunocompromised

Those with allergies, asthma, colds, flus, COVID, cancer, autoimmune diseases & more...

Elderly

Long term exposure causes a significant increase in heart disease deaths and hospital admissions

Pets

One third of all U.S. homes have pets that are susceptible to CO and can't respond to CO alarms

Exposure to low levels of CO can affect anyone at any time independent of their age or health.

 Indoor Air Quality Heroes

Heroes protect the public from danger.  The CO/PRO enables HVAC
and plumbing companies to provide a professional-grade indoor air quality (IAQ) solution to their customers that can turn off
CO-generating sources.

HVAC Companies

HVAC technicians can interface the CO/PRO to any gas/fuel-based furnace, high efficiency or older.

Plumbing Companies

CO/PRO easily connects to water heaters, boilers, and other fuel-burning devices.

Value For All

CO/PRO requires professional installation by a licensed HVAC or plumbing professional to interface with the furnace and water heater.

The CO/PRO tests itself daily to ensure proper operation and the CO sensor can be easily replaced at the end of its life
